“All in one DVD ripper”

Want to rip your DVD and encode into any sort of video format? Xilisoft DVD Ripper is a simple to use yet powerful application to rip DVDs and encode them into almost any sort of video format.

The application offers two modes, general and advance. In general, thanks to a drop down menu you can quickly choose what video format to encode it to. The application gives references to popular devices, like the iPod Touch, Blackberry or PS3, so you know you're selecting the proper format. You can also adjust video and audio quality thanks to sliders.

We were a little bit disappointed with the advance mode, which lets you enter your own setting, however lacks any sort of choice. Similarly, it's nice to have a preview, but the one in the application is simply to small to really serve any purpose.

When you insert a DVD, you'll see that Xilisoft DVD Ripper shows all the different chapters in a menu, so you can either go for rippint it all, or only selected parts.

We were a little disappointed by the advance mode and preview, yet Xilisoft DVD Ripper is a good DVD ripper thanks to a stepthrough process and simple selection of the best video format according to your playback device.
